Todo empezó con las recetas de la familia. El dueño creció en Playa Azul, Michoacán, donde el marisco se prepara fresco, con limón, y sin miedo al chile. Primero vendimos desde casa, luego desde nuestro food truck, que se ganó el cariño del este de San Jose plato por plato.
It all started with family recipes. The owner grew up in Playa Azul, Michoacán, where seafood is made fresh, with lime, and without fear of chile. We first sold from home, then from our food truck, which won over East San Jose one plate at a time.
Hoy, padre e hijo atienden nuestro restaurante en Alum Rock Ave. La regla de la casa sigue siendo la misma: si no nos gusta a nosotros, no te lo servimos a ti.
Today, father and son run our restaurant on Alum Rock Ave. The house rule is still the same: if we would not eat it, we will not serve it to you.
